Summer Vacations in Flachau:
The "outdoors" are a big deal here in Flachau.
And you can rest assured, even with your vacation
done, there will still be plenty left over for you
to do and discover the next time around.
Whether in the water, in or on the mountains, the
only limit to the variety of opportunities is set by
your own courage and stamina. Big and small,
families, individual travelers and tour groups, can
spend the day however the mood takes them, from
soaking up the rays to the thrills of
pulse-pounding, adrenaline-pumping adventures.
Do you prefer a hike in our magnificent mountains
and forests, or a refreshing dip in the Eben
Swimming Lake - located barely 5 minutes from our
farm? On the nearby sports grounds and
beach-volleyball court, sports fans of every size
will find plenty of room to play. And when
bikers return from a tour of the Enns Cycle Path,
they might still have some energy left over for a
game of badminton, or may simply wish to relax in
the garden and quietly enjoy the setting sun. A
friendly country inn is located within easy walking
distance (around 700m).

Winter Vacations in Flachau:
Enjoy over 860 kilometres of slopes and 220
state-of-the-art ski lifts! Ski the slopes of
the Amade Sports World on a single ski pass! A
winter's dream for every skier. Our farm is
easy to reach by car, just 2 km from the Reitlehen
Lift in Eben, and around 5 km from the ski slopes of
Flachau, Wagrain and St. Johann. If you prefer not
to drive yourself around, you can hop aboard the
free ski bus - located only a 2-minute walk from
here - and enjoy a comfortable ride all the way to
the ski lifts.
Our town also has lots in store for cross-country
skiers. The famous Tauern Trail runs right by
our house, taking you out on skiing adventures
through our snow-covered winter countryside.
One evening a week, your host loves to lead a
sledding expedition (we supply the sleds) in the
romantic, snow-covered winter forest behind our
farm. When you come home in the evening, you
can leave your boots to dry on the heater in our
separate ski-storage room.
